Holiday party

Ignite closes the way it always does: the whole company in one room. Drinks, dinner, live music, and a night that has nothing to do with making calls. All Indy locals will receive 2 Uber vouchers to get to and from the holiday party (unless you're staying at the hotel).

Expectations
Come ready to hang out and celebrate another great year at NCW during our annual Holiday party! Food and drinks will be provided. If you plan to drink alcohol, PLEASE be responsible during the event and have a plan for transportation. Indy locals (not staying at the hotel) will receive TWO Uber vouchers to get to and from the holiday party.
There will be a LIVE GAME SHOW from 5:45-7:30 PM, so be at the venue with your food and drinks BY 5:45! Live music will take place from 8-10 PM. This is the time to get to know your colleagues, make memories, and celebrate another year of growth and success at the Dub!

Common questions
Who is expected to attend?
Ignite is company-wide. Every NCW employee is expected at all of the sessions Tuesday and Wednesday.
Is travel covered?
Yes for remote employees. NCW covers your flight or mileage plus your room at the Hyatt Regency for the nights of the conference. Parking will be included with the per diem for those driving to Indianapolis. Per diem is frontloaded to your paycheck the Friday before Ignite (January 8) Do not book anything yourself! Alex handles the hotel, and Ashley Barker handles all flight arrangements.
I'm local. Can I still get a hotel room?
Yes, on your own dime. Choose the nights you want in the RSVP form and we'll add you to the room block at the group rate. We can either arrange for the room amount to be taken out of your paycheck the week prior to Ignite, or we can coordinate payment through the hotel. Do not book the hotel on your own! You won't get our discounted rate if you book on your own. (Trust us, you'll want the discounted rate)
What about parking?
We highly encourage all employees to download SpotHero on their phones. This will help alleviate the costs for parking, we are giving each Indy based employee $70 for parking for the two days. The $70 will be frontloaded to your paycheck the Friday before Ignite.
Are meals provided?
Breakfast and Lunch is provided Tuesday - Thursday. Each team plans one team dinner during Ignite week, and dinner will be provided on Thursday. Per diem will cover all three meals on Monday, one dinner (depending on when your team goes out for your team dinner), and all three meals while you travel on Friday. Can I pick both of my Tuesday workshops?
No, each session is curated to specific roles within NCW. Please attend the workshop based on your role.
Can I bring a guest to the holiday party?
No — the holiday party is employees only.
What if my plans change?
Email Alex Craig as soon as you know. Travel and room changes get harder (and more expensive) inside two weeks of the event.
Travel money
Per diem
Every remote employee traveling into Indy will receive $165 of per diem. Per diem is non-taxable money to use for parking & transportation to/from the airport in your hometown, a few meals, checking luggage, and other travel expenses incurred. Per diem will be provided on your paycheck the week before Ignite on January 8th.
Drivers
Drivers will receive an additional $160 for parking for the week.

Allergies and dietary needs
Tell us in the RSVP form and we will inform the hotel kitchen and staff. If your needs change after you RSVP, let Alex Craig know. If you have strict dietary restrictions, let the kitchen staff know during Ignite week. They will keep your food separated from the rest of the food to ensure there is no cross contamination, and in order to get that food- just let them know and they will grab it for you!

Policy
Credit card and spending policy
If you've been issued an NCW company credit card, this policy covers what the card may be used for. During Ignite week, NCW credit cards SHOULD NOT BE USED unless previously approved by your RSD or Manager. Use of the NCW CC during Ignite week will result in that amount being deducted from your paycheck the week after Ignite.
Applies to all employees who have been issued a company credit card.
